Some art ideas, Just take a long time to develop.
Imagine dozens, Maybe hundreds of small paintings all to do with the things we consume. Each object is ordinary on its own, but surrounded by others it can become an incredibly powerful experience.
For many years I have been considering the idea of permanence, through a consumer lens. It is no secret we live in a throw away society , but what would happen if they where artwork? does that change the conversation? the meaning?
Would It be admired, or feared? confronting? or promote and record the era we live in.
The idea is to continue to create hundreds of small paintings of "things" not just regular things, things I have wanted across the years for different reasons. The imagery and process has been many years in the making and when it is ready I have no real concrete idea, But I do hope it brings more questions than answers.
